Building a Memorable Brand
Doesn't Come Without a Cost
In this episode, I talk about the real cost of building a memorable brand and why honesty, courage, and vulnerability matter. I share parts of my Boss Minded Framework and my own experiences, how some people have supported me, some have left, and some have misunderstood me, and why that’s a normal part of growth.

I also explain that a strong brand comes from sharing your true story, owning your results, and giving people clear next steps. Being real matters more than being perfect. I end by reminding you to focus on what you’re doing right, keep showing up, and accept that even if you’re the “villain” in someone else’s story, you can still make a powerful impact.

In this episode, I talk about a time when I found out I wasn’t invited to a baby shower for someone I thought was my friend. It hurt, especially because many people I had introduced her to were invited. At the same time, I was helping the missionaries and a single mom who needed a working bike to get to her job. I spent the whole day finding bikes, using donations, and making sure she and her son were taken care of.

In this episode of Your Loving Kick in the Pants, I talked about how our “Reignite the Light” event showed the power of community. I shared lessons from running my Boss Minded Facebook group, where I’ve learned that real growth happens when people support, challenge, and hold each other accountable.

In this episode, I shared a personal story about feeling misled by an organization I volunteer with. After being told I’d be part of a new video project, I later discovered the call was actually a sales pitch. That experience gave me a chance to apply my “Accountability Code,” a step-by-step process I use to reflect, plan, act, and learn from situations that feel off.
